Made my life much easier

What's great about it: Very helpful and made easy to use

First Year Disappointed

I have used TurboTax for many years, this year they changed the versions so if you have simple investments you had to buy the Premier version. Not a good way to treat long term users of your product considering that there is software that is half the cost.
What's great about it: Easy to transfer past years information
What's not so great: Cost, changing product, needed to upgrade

You can do better!

I still need to get a refund for the extra charges for Form 8949. I received a letter indicating that the refund to me is due but the refund process did not work.
HSA Account reporting for Form 8889 was very confusing. Initially I did not have Contribution and Distribution information and when I finally received it, it was very hard to see where to input the information.

Good product

Overall was very helpful. I'm glad they allowed the free upgrade to Premium to handle long-term capital gains and losses. That would have been a big negative if they hadn't offered that.
What's great about it: Steps you through all the options you need to consider
What's not so great: Can be confusing in the final review when it asks you about a specific form, and you haven't been doing any forms.

Simple and Fast

Aside from the small bug that was fixed promptly, this was at least my 10th or 11th year with TurboTax and I can't imagine doing my taxes without it.
What's great about it: Comprehensive Questions, easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: There was a bug in the State section, had to download a tool to correct it.

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years and have never had any problems. I really like and trust this software.

Pleased by my refunds!

I like the Turbo Tax software because it copies over last year's data and allows you to update many items throughout the forms. I also like when contributing other than money, you can use the Intuit tool to do this. It helps so much when you give away a lot of clothing and other items each year. I really like when Turbo tax is able to do the State tax in about 5 minutes or so after you complete your Federal return. This package makes it easy to complete your income tax if you have your paperwork gathered together by category and ready to go.
What's great about it: I liked the ease in which you can enter/change data throughout TurboTax package.
What's not so great: I noticed you could not enter contribution items this year yourself. It was not bad but a little more restrictive.

Spent hours trying to download updates and state returns and lots of time on the phone to finally get the concern resolved. Not what I expect from Turbotax
What's not so great: Had to upgrade to premeir, deluxe has been fine
