Reasonably good software

The interview was comparable to the competirots software that I used the last few years. Did not accept pasted in passwords or email address making it a big issue when I wanted to download from my investment account as it also did not display the 20 character password I use on entry. This forced me to change password at investment company to a short version then change it back after downloading financials. All other functions worked well.
What's great about it: Interview process was very good
What's not so great: Would not accept pasted in passwords or email address

LOST IN THE CONFUSION

It was a unsettling that certain forms were missing from the software and especially that I had to find out in the news. I was glad that the forms were uploaded for free, but even that was confusing.
What's great about it: EASY TO USE, RETAINS ALL MY FILES

Surprised a bit

Had to get premier for one investment account mutual fund, give me at least one on the deluxe, other than that pretty happy with my purchase
What's great about it: Walks thru everything but you still have to know your stuff to make it convenient
What's not so great: Form 5498 Roth IRA and 1099 G issue not easy or intuitive

Easy to use

I like how easy it is to use, but beware, it charged me $54 for their guarantee and filing my state taxes. This is after buying the Premier level to do my investment portion.

Smooth process

The review of my year went as well as I could expect. I would not have asked for more other than a revision of the the US tax system to simplify the tax code and put the need for complex software out to pasture. I had stock sold and that was easily imported and completed. I used the Premier software and would recommend to most people that have short term or long term capital gains.
What's great about it: step by step instructions
What's not so great: nothing stands out
