Thankful to Have Finished

I had a lot of problems with the software this year. Luckily, your customer service was excellent and staff was able to help. After a decade of using your product, I will seek another platform in 2015.
What's great about it: Great customer service
What's not so great: Buggy software, bad CD, stuck in loops
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Cost keeps going up, have to change versions just to file same return.
What's not so great: Issues with forms, changes in forms available, too expensive

if it was not for the customer service dept i would have been sunk trying to figure out how to upload the state return form!! I took time for her to even figure it out be we go it and i was able to finish rapidly. thank you for being open 7 days a week!!

where's my one free state efile?

it said I was going to receive one free state efile. I said I wanted to apply the free efile for the first state tax I did, but it didn't apply it when I submitted my fed tax, so I have to snail mail my state tax.
What's great about it: easy language
What's not so great: was not able to use state efile

STOP TRYING TO IMPROVE WITH MISTAKES. LEAVE EACH TYPE THE SAME SONT MOVE DATA TO OTHER TYPES. I HAVE BEEN WITH TURBO TAX FOR OVER 15 YEARS AND HAVE ALWAYS LIKED YOUR PRODUCT --- LEAVE IT ALONE

I did not like that Turbo Tax changed the Deluxe version so that a customer who has been using Deluxe had to pay a higher cost for Premium for the few financial transactions I needed.

Turbo Tax Investment & Rental Property

It took my wife 6 hours from start to finish our online filing. The online help and guide is helpful and provided us options.
Unfortunately, the system failed us at the end, not allowing us to file online using our credit card for payment. Recommend to fix this issue soon and test this functional next year before putting the 2015 turbo tax software.
What's great about it: On line step by step guide
What's not so great: unable to file electronically and pay via my credit card... system did not allow us to use our credit card.

Easy Filing

I like how turbo tax is so easy to use and does most of the work for you. All I have to do is enter info off of documents and it tells you what amounts from what boxes to enter. Or, in a lot of cases, it downloads the info right into the program.
I also appreciate Turbo Tax giving schedule D back to customers on the deluxe version. I would not be opposed to them changing the versions as long as I felt well informed ahead of time.

What's not so great: Turbo tax tried to change the forms on the deluxe version for 2014
