Disappointed

It was very difficult entering the charities into Sch. A. There was no carry over for Sch. D from last year yet it was put into my tax return this year. Spent time on trying to remove that from my return. I have used turbo tax many times and this is the first time I had fought with your program.
I also had to go to forms many times to input information on the Federal. As for the state info for a refund I had to go into several screens in your program to get it right.
I have used professional CPA and they made mistakes on my returns in the past and then I had to file an amended return to correct their mistakes. I still find your program easier than other tax software.

What's great about it: Cheaper than going to a licensed tax preparrer
What's not so great: had problems with Sch. D and A

Excellent software. I have been using TurboTax for the last 4 years and it keeps getting better and better every year.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and understand. Loved the way it can upload information into your return from previous year.
What's not so great: Nothing

Overall, turbo tax is a great product. We have used it for many years. This year was the first time we had issues with the program. Could not down load the state return, Called turbotax, waited about 30 minutes with call, but fixed the problem promptly. Then after completing the state return, had issues with paying to efile it. Had to wait another 30 minutes, but again it was promptly taken care of.
What's great about it: quick rview of all pertinent tax info
What's not so great: issues with state download, paying for state filing, wait time on calls

Federal Ta Return

Overall the filing is easy and is similar to what we did in the 2013 return; however, I am not sure why I cannot import the 2013 Turbo Tax PDF file into the 2014 Federal filing in order to speed up the time.
Turbo Tax should have it done pretty easy.
What's great about it: Easy to follow steps
What's not so great: Cannot import 2013 Turbox Tax PDF file
