Worked well, once I downloaded the free upgrade.

Turbo Tax: label your products much more clearly next year so we know what we are buying -- no hidden extra costs like this year's initial snafu. Overall a good product and easy to use.
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions and Q&A.
What's not so great: Hard to find how to apply some of my refund to next year's taxes. Prefer Q&A method for state return like last year.

I have been using software for years and very happy. The only thing I would suggest is if the W-2 section shows IRA contributions that it will take you to the IRA deduction section of the software. Or at least prompt user that they may be entitled to this deduction. Filed one return without taking the IRA deduction I was entitled to and will now have to amend.
What's great about it: Easy to use and accurate
What's not so great: IRA reported on W2 did not take me to IRA deduction section

It's over for this year!

I' m done and that is all that counts. I believe it could not be any easier than it was. I have used TurboTax for a number of years so I know being prepared certainly makes the whole process easier. I keep my records up to date monthly during the year, so that on Jan 1 of the next year all I need are the documents that are required for back-up of my information. Great program! I also use Quicken Premier for my record keeping.
What's great about it: Simplicity and ability to down load investment info.
What's not so great: Constant updates

Turbo Tax Premier

This product has never failed to deliver on it's promise of Easy- To-Use. It's quick,less than two hours for both Fed & State including E-File. I have not been the subject of an audit while using this product, due to the safe-guards in the software. Great Stuff

Such a simple process!

Thanks for putting the "lost" schedules back into the Deluxe product, and I'm hoping and expecting them to now be included in future years as they were in past years. Please don't bump us up to Premier for the sake of a few simple schedules.
What's great about it: Asks all the right questions and provides all the right prompts.
What's not so great: A bit difficult with "special" items

Your changing the "Deluxe" version to not have Schedule E made me re-evaluate your software. What I found was I do not like it. I don't know if this has been gradual and I just didn't notice or that it is worse this year.
Years ago I shifted from doing my taxes by hand to software. I read the reviews and then bought several brands and did a bake-off for myself. I decided that TurboTax was best and I've been using it ever since.
I dumbly purchased your product every year without any other thought. But not having Real Estate capability with the "Deluxe" version made me look twice this year (yes, you upgraded it but you pointed out the inadequacy for next year). I found that there is a lot not to like about your product. Next year I will instead look for the best value instead of just repeating out of habit.
What's great about it: Automatically transfers previous year's dat
What's not so great: Transferred data is incomplete--e.g., dropped my 1099-R info
