Turbo Tax really alleviates lots of frustration and anxiety with its Q & A Format. I will continue to use Turbo Tax as I have for past several years.

The Only Civilized Way to File Taxes

All in all, TurboTax is the only way to file taxes short of an expensive CPA or tax preparation service. The hard part is gathering all of the documentation. Entering it into TT is the easy part, especially when a financial institution participates in the automatic import feature. The step by step entry process ensures that all bases are covered. The running total for the federal bottom line is helpful and the state total is a nice addition. I hate filing taxes but TurboTax makes it at least tolerable.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate and use interface. Automatic import feature extremely helpful.
What's not so great: Help explanations often as confusing as the original tax code.

Been using this for years. For the most part very easy to use.
Would be better if the navigation to specific areas could be improved. Many time there are too many preliminary questions that need to be answered again and again to get to the desired area.

Best Tax Software on the Market

By far best tax software on the market. Been using it for more than 10 years with no problems. Updates regularly to make sure you have the latest IRS tax code and forms. From beginner to expert, Turbo Tax meets every need. Importing data from the previous year's taxes is terrific - saves a lot of time. The program is methodical in taking you through every form you need and recommends additional areas that might give you a deduction. It's just a great tool for completing your taxes. The easy e-file is the icing on the cake.
What's great about it: Easy to use, step by step detail, educational, superior FAQ, lots of options and examples
What's not so great: There are prolems importing from It's Deductible this year.

Excellent software to use. Been using for years, but I think someone who has never done before would appreciate how easily you are taken by the hand each step of the way.
What's great about it: Easy to follow - Quick
What's not so great: Was surprised I had to use Premium vs. Deluxe edition this year.

The handling of Oil & Gas royalties must have changed somehow, I got all confusdicated.... It worked out in the end, tho.

Other than the fact I had to upgrade to Premier, no problem. There was no charge for upgrading. Will I need to purchase Premier next year if I have capital gains to report?

i use to do taxes & I find this is a relatively straight forward even simple to use program. i would recommend it to anyone.
