What's great about it: Guides you through everything. So easy even I can do it!
What's not so great: Sorry, no cons. TurboTax is fool proof!

Good program that makes tax preparation easier. The program links tax filings from different years to reduce multiple data entry.

Moderately unhappy.
It took longer than normal to complete. Too much effort trying to upsell to more expensive products.
Massachusetts Bank Interest did not properly transfer to state return when downloading tax statement from bank. I needed to adjust my return after my review.
Too many updates after releasing the product. Makes it look like a lack of quality control.
I may consider an accountant or another product next year.

What's not so great: Very upset about not including Investment Income with Turbo Tax Deluxe as in previous years.

Easy to follow

The availability of pulling in last years data saves time. Also, the upgrade to premium at no cost was appreciated.
What's great about it: The ability to work through all the categories with direction and assistance.
What's not so great: None found

I need a program that allows me to show retirement income, all stock transactions with loses and capital gains, and all possible deductions. I don't need a lot of "bells and whistles".
What's great about it: Easy to use and get updates
What's not so great: Didn't know about changes to basic TurboTax software

I'm not happy with this edition compared to Deluxe.
I may be changing tax software vendor next year.

The Need for Increased Capacity

Although I have used the program since the days of MacInTax, this is the first year that I had an issue with connecting to the SSL server. I am aware that activity may overload the systems during peak periods. Management should plan to accommodate users for these peak load times. It may be costly, but well worth the money if management wants to keep users comfortable.
What's great about it: Most comprehensive and user friendly tax program available for the consumer.
What's not so great: The capacity of TurboTax servers is inadequate.
