TurboTax wicked good!

Have royalty income which I never know what to do with but this year Turbo did everything for me! Very easy!
What's great about it: So easy to use. Walked me right thru everything.
What's not so great: Sometimes when i hit the back button, I had to start over rather than going back one page.

Quality Has Gone Down

I have used TurboTax ever since it first came out. I have to say, the quality of the product seems to be going down. The online Help has never been stellar, but it's getting worse. Links go to places that have nothing to do with where you are or what form you're filling out. Instructions are getting more confusing. And little things like the updater saying "Restart TurboTax", but clicking that button just exits.
I also recommend better consistency. One page will have a Yes or No button, and the next will have radio buttons for Yes and No, and you then have to click Next. And I have always found the pages that say "do you have any of these...", with checkboxes, and the last checkbox says "None of the above". But checking "None of the above" then asks for more information about that! I mean "I don't have any of those", but the software apparently takes it to mean "I have something in this category that isn't in the list". Reword "None of the above" so it isn't ambiguous.
What's great about it: Better than filling out the forms by hand
What's not so great: Quality is going down, not as good as prior years

Killer easy filing!

This software is the best! Makes tax filing a piece of cake. I have a good amount of info to supply and it takes about 2 hours. Amazing!
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Nothing I can think of

Love TurboTax!

I've been a Turbo Tax user for years. I love the tool, and it has saved me countless hours versus the old paper filing. I've love the peace of mind I get with turbo tax. And if I need help, I can get it.
One suggestion: even though the tool has (rightly) figured out that I don't need to file state taxes since I'm in Texas, right before the file, it reminds me about state taxes again. I would recommend that this be skipped - it's a bit annoying. But other than that, it's a great tool!
What's great about it: easy to use; guidance and help available, thorough
What's not so great: keeps asking about state taxes for states that don't apply

A Live Saver!

I was particularly pleased with you "live person" tax support and the ease of being transferred to a tax expert. In addition, thanks to all the questions asked, the process of doing your taxes gets easier each year you use Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: I love the clarity and ease of using Turbo Tax.
What's not so great: TT is so popular that phone wait times can be a bit long. Put your phone on speaker and do something else for a while!

Not as Good as Previous Years

Unable to go to the direct form from the point you were in the questions and vice versa. Didn't always run through all the questions. Very annoying that we had to go to Premier edition because of Royalties due to gas well.
What's not so great: Did not allow you to go directly to the form that the questions were referring to.
