Not Good for Capital Gains

This program couldn't bring in all the information from my broker, I had to spend hours correcting information.
What's great about it: Straighforward for normal taxes
What's not so great: Absolutely Terrible for Stocks
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I would highly recommend this tax software.
What's great about it: Excellent guided step by step preparation for tax return/review/audit check/e-filing. All the steps are easy to follow.
What's not so great: none that I can think of

DEPENDABLE AS USUAL

I like most everything about the program . I like it better now, when I choose the option to look for things you know you need, instead of looking at everything.
The only thing I don't like is when you type in a zip code, the city doesn't pop up.
I volunteer to do taxes for the AARP and we use Tax Wise and it does have this feature, It also will show the information about a business, i, e, name, address, etc when you enter the EIN number.

Ohio tax law allows for deductions of Long-Term Care insurance. I entered this item on my Federal return, but it was not carried over to my Ohio return. I had to do this manually. It was carried correctly on the 2013 return.

Great after problems corrected

Was surprised when the basic edition did not contain form D which resulted in having to buy a more expensive edition. However I was reimbursed the cost which soothed my dissatisfaction. Will definitely use Turbo Tax next year and hope the basic edition has the forms I need. Thanks Turbo Tax for the great catch-up effort you made.

Been using TurboTax for over a decade now. TurboTax makes it VERY easy to do my taxes!! And saves me MONEY for my tax preperation.

TURBO TAX is great!

Turbo Tax is easy to use, and it makes sure you don't omit any income, deductions, or other information. I especially like that you can download tax related data from your investment accounts quickly. I would not want to manually input all that information!
What's great about it: It's great to be have information from last year's taxes without entering it all again.

Prior years TTax include MI1040 CR for the Homestaed Property Tax Credit. It is not supported this year. Poor decision TTax. Include in future programs!
