last year i was able to file 5 federal and more than 5 ny state returns. th[s year i am apparently limited to 5 0f each.this seems as if iam getting less for my buck.

Painful to enter 50 common stocks

I much prefer the 2013 Deluxe version to the 2014 Premier version.
What's great about it: Friendly but REPETITIVE dialogue
What's not so great: Tough to navigate between entry segments

Not Enough Instructions

Could not tell when I needed to enter information or leave blank. Asked me to delete medical expenses, but did not offer edit or delete keys.
What's great about it: Don't have to pay a professional
What's not so great: Would not import my information from broker

Reliable Software

Was very disappointed in the software re-design and re-naming of the various products. I've been using the Deluxe version for years and was very satisfied with your product. The re-design took some elements of my return out of the Deluxe version and placed them in the Premier version. I had to pay additional money to get the software I needed and the bulk of the Premier version I really don't need.
What's great about it: Simple & easy to use. Pre-fills common information from one year to the next.
What's not so great: Would like more dialogue boxes to pop up with explanations.

Basic version in past years handled all investment forms, 2014 required upgrade to premier, although cost was deferred this year I do not like change. Basic was adequate in past years.

This product is easy to use especially since it can import from my investments and employer. I wish the charge for filing was included in the price of the turbo tax, it feels like you are paying more since you have to pay for the cd and then you have to pay to file your return
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: would love to buy online instead of going to the store

Great Program

I felt the program was very good this year. I ordered Premier this year because I had a change in circumstances from the previous year instead of Deluxe (after reviewing what I needed) not knowing there would be an upgrade due to changes in the services for the programs. I was somewhat unhappy that I may have paid more than I should have because of the free upgrade due to those changes. Otherwise, I have always had a good experience with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Easy to Use and I trust the program. I have been a customer for over a decade.
What's not so great: Paying for submitting one State Tax Return electronically that used to come with the purchase.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
