This year the Deluxe didn't have the necessary forms for me to file so that meant upgrading to the Premier which was more expensive. The company rectified the situation by offering a free upload of the Premier to all those who had had the Deluxe edition years before. That was a wonderful gesture on their part and it was greatly appreciated. They really didn't have to do that but they did.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: None that I can think of

Software worked fine, a little problem in trying to figure out how to say what the the foreign tax paid was correct after having put in an estimated. Instructions not good.
What's great about it: Thank you for fixing the problem with Deluxe--that was AWFUL!
What's not so great: Again, not including investments in Deluxe was horrid and I spent about half an hour with your helper getting upgrade

Fast Return

Overall, very pleased with TurboTax. I'll keep using it.
What's great about it: The questions were easy to understand.
What's not so great: Some explanations of the forms were missing for investments.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

upgrading to Premium

I had a terrible time getting Premium loaded; support staff was with me all the way, however - best tech. support I have ever had (2 different people helping me)
If had known it would be so difficult for me, I probably would have paid to have my taxes done.. I have been one of TurboTax's most avid promoters
What's great about it: support staff fantastic
What's not so great: took 2 to 3 extra hours of my time

Most Excellent refund!

It was easy, fast and included deductions that I would have forgot on my own. Thanks for a wonderful product to file my taxes!
What's great about it: I liked that I could access my tax info from my brokerages.
What's not so great: Nothing. I didn't experience any problems!

2014 Taxes Done using Tubo Tax

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years and it makes doing my taxes much easier. I like the fact that they can transfer my basic information / data from last years info. It also makes it easier that they can download 1099 information from my financial institution so I don't have to input all that information by hand.
What's great about it: They walk you through everything.
What's not so great: I had to upgrade to Premier because I had recived one 1099B which cost an extra $30.00.

I purchased TurboTax Deluxe. I was surprised to learn at the very end of the process that I had to pay a fee to file my state return electronically. I understood that e-filng for one state to be included in the purchase price of Deluxe.
What's great about it: Easy to use, thorough
What's not so great: Fee transparency

I love Turbo Tax because it allows me to work on my taxes a little at a time at home. Turbo Tax gives me the benefit of new tax laws and deductions.
