Worth using and a big help
What's great about it: EAsy to use, as usual.
What's not so great: The questions on the Required Minimum Distribution for my pension plan were not needed as I don't work.

I have been using Turbo Tax for over a decade to do both my taxes and my parents. It is easy to follow and doesn't miss important steps.
What's great about it: Stright forward and easy to use
What's not so great: None

A few disappointments

We have always used TurboTax in the past but this will be the last year. Why? Well the cost of the software and the price of the "processing" fees. We can go to our local accountant for the same money - someone else does the work!
I was surprised that it did not catch the error when I accidentally selected NH rather than NE for my state.
What's great about it: I like that all my information is uploaded from previous years.
What's not so great: Price of the software and hidden processing fees.

Too many hurdles to repeat a process that we have used for almost two decades. We will ponder alternatives next year.
What's great about it: Familiar, comparisons to previous filings.
What's not so great: Terrible transition from Deluxe to Premiere

pdf email issue

why can't you forward the pdf file to someone else and have them open it up and print out their copies. Unreal. 3 hours later I'm pulling my hair out of my head.
What's great about it: Doing the 1040A was simple but printing it was like going through customs
What's not so great: printing issues

Told program intially that we no longer had a rental property, It said it would still have to keep the Schedule E.
Required information for Schedule E, but would not take real numbers. Like ZERO for days rented!
Drop the form when there isnt a rental so people don't have to put incorrect information in to be able to submit form or enable an override for the info that is correct whether the program like it or not.
What's great about it: Easy to import info from previous returns and from banks, etc
What's not so great: Even when you tell it you are nolonger renting a property it still wants info
