My Great Refund

Very easy to use eventhough we have an in home office, rental property and some stock situations.

Filing trauma eliminated

I have been using turbotax for several years, I cannot imagine using anything else.
All of the prior info updates, making the new filing take half the time. If I need to modify some special entry, I can go right to the actual form. The finished product is 2000% more readable than if I filled out the form by hand, even I can read it.

More questions than ever!

I had a lot of trouble installing TurboTax Premier to my Mac. I did not have any trouble installing Deluxe last year, to my Mac. Also, my previous years of TurboTax's returns - disappeared.
What's great about it: Your donation list and amounts when adding up the value of the goods donated.
What's not so great: The questions you asked were not clear-needed a better explanation for them.

Turbo Tax

I did not find this year's tax package to as user friendly as previous year's. It seemed like I kept on entering the same thing many times. Each time one went back to review something and you continued on then you had to answer all the questions all over even if you did NOT change anything. Plus, even when you did save it and go back in, these may not have been how you left them when you saved the tax return.
Also, it seemed like to get certain credits on the OH return you had to jump through hoops and do some detective work to find where and what needed to be done to get the credit. I do not remember having that much problem last year getting the appropriate credits.
I sure hope next year you do not split the product like you did this year.

See con! Lost deduction for $283 because it wanted me to do all this stuff for my truck as if I had a business -- ie depreciation, etc.
Jim is short for James!!!!!
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Rental: Used my vehicle for 283 miles --wanted mileage -- deduction only for use.

Turbo Tax Premier

Great product, but think the support can be easier. The Q&A blog didn't work for me, and I had to try to locate a phone number for support. Please make that easier to locate. I didn't mind the 30 minute wait as long as I got to talk to a live body. Thanks.

Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments
