Turbo Tax is very user friendly even for a novice, the key is having all your financial information organized when you start Turbo Tax.

What's great about it: I have used Turbo Tax for over 6 years now and each year gets easier and better. I love this program.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I am grateful that Turbo Tax is making navigating through the system simpler. The questions were easier to understand. Turbo Tax appears to be the best tax service for those of us who still use our grandchildren to help navigate the controls on the TV remote:-) I have been using turbo tax for over a decade now and it gets easier and easier each time. Thank you for getting me a deduction.
What's great about it: Asked better questions and they were simpler than previous editions
What's not so great: Checking for final errors threw me off; sepecifically concerning my vehicle for personal or business use.

Did the Job

Leads the preparation without requiring knoledge of tax rules. However need to have deductible expense tracking that will prepare for next year. Similary, for other details needed for completing State return. This cost quite a bit more this year because I was required to purchase the Premier version, when before I could do the same thing with the Deluse version.
What's great about it: Efficient; Well explained; Builds the forms;
What's not so great: Need forward tracking of deductibles; Required Premier version when before could have used Deluxe version.
