Issue with Mass Tax Calculation

The logic in the forms pull data from Line 16 for State wages on W2 But as a non resident it should have pulled total wages from Line 1... Then it would have properly calculated the percentage of non resident income...
What's great about it: I was able to override field that was pulled from wrong data
What's not so great: Due to the override I cannot e-file with Massachusetts

Premier?

Good thing the upgrade to Premeier was free and you fixed that issue. Been using Turbotax for many many years, but if you require me to buy Premier simply so I can enter 1099 investment information, I will make the switch and never come back.

This is a review of TurboTax Premier 2014, download version. I like the fact that the program automatically transfers the prior year's data and allows me to download brokerage data. I like the fact that it does not force me to go through the entire interview process, since with experience I know what parts I need to pay attention to.
I still need to review the results carefully because it sometimes makes mistakes, which can be hard to fix. Last year I had to go outside of TurboTax for my state return, so that I could submit a correct form. This year TurboTax automatically entered a late payment penalty on the federal return, in spite of the fact that I overpaid and was filing on time! After asking the "community" about this several different ways, I figured out how to go back to a section of the interview process and correct this.
What's great about it: Transfers prior year's data, seems to be thorough, lets me download brokerage data
What's not so great: The program sometimes puts in erroneous data and will not let you correct it directly though the forms view.

Easy-as usual

The most difficult part of preparing my taxes this year was getting all of the forms from different brokerage accounts. Once all were in, going through turbo tax was easy. We didn't have any complicated issues this year, but I'm very comfortable using this program year after year.
What's great about it: Familiar, step by step
What's not so great: Not sure I had to use PremierT

I appreciate filing my taxes with Turbo Tax, i have been using it for over five years. It is convenient and useful, being able to work on my taxes in my bits of spare time, saving as I go. I will continue to use Turbo tax for years to come.

Easy and complete

The first time I used TurboTax, it seemed intimidating. Each year since has been a better experience than the last. Last year was the first time I actually e-filed the return, not sure I wanted to trust zeroes and ones floating on wires and the air waves. As it turned out, everything worked out just fine. This year, I e-filed without hesitation. Thank you.
What's great about it: Pulled in relevant data from previous year; made data entry easy.
What's not so great: Nothing

First Time Tax Filer!

This was my first time filing taxes and my experience was super easy and direct. My refund was more than I expected!

Why Turbo Tax?

When the IRS issued regulations requiring detailed information on financial transactions it took many hours of time to list all the data on my return. Then I upgraded to the "Premium" level of Turbo Tax. What a wonderful surprise to find that I could import data from my brokerage firm, balance the data to my records, and know that all would be correct without my having to transfer the data manually. Thank you Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: It saves time. Everything is done correctly. Nothing is overlooked.
What's not so great: None
