I have used TurboTax for several years. Always found it to be easy to use.
What's great about it: very user friendly
What's not so great: none

Relief to have Taxes Complete

I have used Turbo tax for many years up until 2013 it included a self employed business activity with my wife. With out the business, the input is easier and only required the Deluxe.
I am very please to use Turbe Tax.
I did have some difficult with an account name change after my wifes passing and going to a simplied Deluxe system.
I also thought that State was free this year but that did not appear to be the case.
Thanks for assisting to provide the "Relief to have Taxes completefd."

What's great about it: Transferred considweable material and numbers.
What's not so great: Completing input for foreign taxes.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Been using Turbo Tax since 2002. My situation has become more complex in a few ways, but navigating the menus can be better. Example, when using exploring on your own, I had to repeat some info I had already entered, which now was blank, and I wanted to see what I had entered previously in order to refresh and/or edit . Also a specific glitch, and I saw others mention this in the help section. Asking for info using simplified method for Thrift Savings Plan, when in fact I had not checked the box for that method.
Also, asking questions about boxes on 1099-B that did not exist on the form I received.

What's not so great: Asking questions about forms that folks do not know ot that are not on the form

Now, I read in the paper that Deluxe no longer includes forms I need to carry over losses of investments during the recession. This is very disappointing because I have been a faithful customer for many years. Boo!
What's not so great: Used to use Basic and/or Deluxe which included needed forms

Got most of the entries correct - Did Not carry US 1040 line 8b to CT 1040 Line 2. Gave me a form 1040 EZ for Misc. deductions? Haven't had that before . Should be on 1040 Sched. A Line 28, as in past years

What's not so great: Did not carry Forward to CT Form line 2 pg 1 from US Form 1040 line 8b
