I appreciated how you decided to review and change your approach. I like turbo tax but was about to use other tax software until I heard you had decide to admit a bad mistake and make things right. You handled this very well, by acknowledging a mistake and making the remedy easy to do. The upgrade to Premium was smooth and very quick. It was not a big inconvenience.
I am still a fan of Intuit and turbo tax thanks to how you handled this. Your approach saved our relationship.
Thanks to whoever recognized the disaster that was developing and took the decisive steps to fix the problem. Excellent leadership. You did your company a great service.

What's great about it: The charitable non cash donations help with assigning values was really helpful.
What's not so great: The mess with capital gains not being in Deluxe version this year. I was angry about the way you had approached this.

Minimal Hiccups

I"ve used the software for several years now and have gotten quite used to it. I feel pretty comfortable navigating most things, but occasionally run into an issue where the canned Q & A didn't turn out to be that helpful. Nothing's perfect. But this is quite good.
What's great about it: Pretty detailed and logical way to walk through the process
What's not so great: A few unique issues that I struggled with a bit.

How green was my refund

My finances changed a little and I wasn't sure about a couple things, but the help buttons were there and it was easy after that. It was easy to go back and fix any mistakes too.
What I really liked was I got the free upgrade so I was able to do my rental property! They started saving money before I even started my return!
What's great about it: The ability to look at different situations
What's not so great: Nothing-
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

It's done for '14

As usual (I've done Turbo for several years), I did it all in one sitting. I had all my papers and so the ducks were in a row.
The progression of income and deduction categories was good.
It would be helpful if the program went down to the bottom of the category list so that I did not have to scroll down after finishing a category. That annoys me a bit, and I get tired of all the scrolling.
It all worked well and I am done for my 2014 taxes.
What's great about it: Good layout - easy to follow
What's not so great: Some items could have had more explanation

I will continue to use Turbo Tax. The upgrade at no cost to correct deluxe features was very professional.
What's great about it: Alerted me to additional tax deductions and credits
