I will not buy turbo tax again. It is forcing me to purchase Audit defense.
I will pass the word. Business will be lost. Taxes are stressful enough will the additional of this type of mandatory charges.
This evaluation process is even frustrating.
What's not so great: There is no opt out of audit defense

What's great about it: quick & accurate.. very easy to understand
What's not so great: non that I can think of
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Depreciation for Rental Home

I had to use the IRS website and forms to calculate the depreciation on my rental home. I would expect this to be included in the TurboTax Premier package.
Everything else was great.

What's great about it: Income, Mortgage deduction, expenses like repairs were all covered well in this section
What's not so great: How to calculate depreciation was not easy to figure out with TurboTax

Used to love what I now hate

If I could find some other software that like Turbo Tax uxed to be, I'd switch in a minute. It's way too cumbersome now.
What's great about it: I like being able to transfer prior year data.
What's not so great: Used to be fun to use; change amounts, print and many more things; now it's difficult.

Turbo Tax once again proved to be useful in a pinch. Got everything in and filed in 2 hours.
What's great about it: Quick and easy
What's not so great: That I have to file taxes at all

TurboTax still the best

Overall fine, but the "drill down" for especially K-1 data is weak or non-existent, making checking difficult (must frequently go back to program and check entries -- good luck without dual monitors) and then often trust that TurboTax calculations and placements are correct.
What's great about it: Easy to use, good interview,
What's not so great: More & more expensive, "drill down" for source of K-1 data needs improvement

I pay too much tax!

Made filing for an extension easy. I've been using Turbo-Tax so long I'm very comfortable with it. Makes pain of paying taxes more tolerable.

Long Time Turbo Tax Fan

Been using Turbo Tax for a number of years. Easy to use without knowing a lot, or anything, about tax law.
What's great about it: Easy to use, walks you through.
What's not so great: Entering K-1's can be tricky, need some knowledge to do it right
