Disappointed with Deluxe version

I have been using TT for a number of years and my forms and tax complexity has been easily handled by the Deluxe version. This year, when I got to a certain point the forms were not available. I had to pay more. Then later it said I could get my money back. Lots of trouble for a company that I had confidence in. I was disappointed
What's great about it: Does a good job on tax Prep
What's not so great: Wa bllindsided when all the forms were not included

quick, clean and accurate

Looking for next years projection and could not find it. Otherwise, this is really a great product. Much easier than previous years and previous years were good.
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions. Comprehensive and accurate provides peace of mind.
What's not so great: Navigation out of the normal direction stream could be a little better.

Another positive experience

I alternate between "step by step" and forms only which suits the way I use this product. The step by step process is thorough. The It's Deductible capability is a great record keeping feature and imports directly into TurboTax. I would like to see a "what if" feature incorporated into TT so you could see the outcome of changing filing status or other life changes.
What's great about it: Import features

Good program with anticipated results

EXTREMELY misleading information regarding charge for state filing. As advertised, state filing was included in purchased price. After waiting on line for 30 minutes, I find that the additional cost I paid was only for the "forms", not for the filing. Now I have to use snail mail to file my Michigan return. The customer service rep acknowledged the misleading information.
What's great about it: Carryover information from prior years saves time
What's not so great: Additional costs tacked on to what was a very good method of preparing returns

What's great about it: every possible step was covered. Deductions I didn't know I could take. Importing numbers from Brokerage acct

I think TurboTax is the best way to complete and file both Federal and State taxes. It is very intuitive, easy to complete and everything is explained well. It is also very thorough in making sure all bases are covered. The final check for errors is very helpful to ensure accuracy. TT is well worth the price as it saves much time dealing with either the old-fashion paper forms or having a tax consultant do your taxes. I also like the comparison to last years numbers which helps to be sure all required entries are completed.
What's great about it: Very thorough, easy to follow, thorough and complete

Wouldn't do taxes without TorboTax

Awesome program. Need to include digital copy for those of us with new computers with no cd drive. Now I have to call so I can get a digital copy - this computer is failing and need to save all to my new computer.
