Missing some key features

Turbotax (premier, download version) did not prompt me to enter 1099-R information. It did not tie a 1099-C with form 982, nor did it provide any guidance on whteher or not the 1099-C should be included if I used the form 982.
I first tried Turbotax premier online and was informed that the form 982 need required the download/CD version. Most of this info was found in the forums and not in the program itself.
Next year I plan to try TaxSlayer.
What's great about it: organizes MOST tax items
What's not so great: Guide me process misses key items

State Tax & Support

I kept trying to download my state.... but I gave up. I'll file directly with the state to avoid the insanity of your website.
When I looked for a phone number to call....I kept getting a reference to M-F 8-5 Pacific time. Really....do you think you could at least list the number so I could call between those hours?
I'm very, very disappointed after years and years of doing my taxes with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Nothing
What's not so great: No access to state return and no phone number to call for help!

TTax 2014

Overall, a good experience. The transfer of previous year info and especially financial data is a Godsend. Room for improvement - printing options not offered during the normal completion steps. Want to print only the return? Use "File/Print". Easy to do but I would expect to have that option in the normal flow and being afraid to lose/corrupt the process you proceed with printing all worksheets. Also, with more than one rental property, when going back to insert info you cannot, to my knowledge, go straight to what you want - you must go through each property in turn. That being said, a good overall experience, God willing and the creek don't rise I'll be back next year. Thanks!
What's great about it: A bit easier to use this year, info from 2013 transferred easily
What's not so great: Printing options. Getting easily back to a section already completed.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Easy to Use

It was all easy. I had previously disliked this program because it saved the forms in a proprietary format. Now it exports to PDF which is good.
What's great about it: I was impressed with the simple question and answer format.
What's not so great: NOne
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Please make this work! I just submitted my federal, then went back to Federal and deleted entire 1099-R to submit NYS. Last year I just mailed in my state. This problem is listed and complained about all over google! Two years now... Come on now & please just fix it!!!
What's great about it: overall simplicity and comparisons to prior year
What's not so great: NYS 1099-R box 12 issue

Such a disappointment after so many great years

1. Deluxe did not contain Schedule D this year.
2. Had to buy Premier with no refund for the useless Deluxe
3. Turbo Tax could not upload financial institution info correctly
4. Does not let me alter/delete incorrect info for Capital Gains
5. Could not E-file because of errors that turbo Tax would not let me change
6. Loss "rebate" money because I could not E-file
What's great about it: Only the upload of previous info
What's not so great: Needed more expensive version; could handle input from financial institution
