Purchased T.Tax Deluxe as in previous years with understanding it will be upgraded to Premium at no additional cost. It would not auto-upgrade per advert. Called 800-number to get upgrade. Kathy, in GA., did outstanding work to get upgrade to work. Kudos.
If T.Tax Deluxe reverts similar to 2013, i.e., add forms for investments, etc. will probably use for 2015, too. Otherwise...?
OPM and Military retirements are treated as regular IRA. Asks if the (annuity) was MRD.

Why did you have to change something that was so good and easy to use. Premium isn't nearly as user friendly. I need to file a Schedule C for my consulting work and have bought and sold stock, all of which I have been doing for years.
What's great about it: I've using TurboTax Deluxe for many years, it was great.
What's not so great: This year had to use Premium. It was not so great.

Love this product...have used it since 2008 or so! Keep up the good work and eliminate State filing issues. ;)
What's great about it: easy, thorough, good help when needed
What's not so great: can get a bit lost if you go back from "view all"

Turbo Tax - not quite ready for PrimeTime

Here it is a year later and they STILL haven't fixed the Long Term Care Insurance Premium questionnaire section in the New York Return.
That's just SOOOOOOOOO confidence-building.
What's great about it: yeah, we know
What's not so great: Can't ever fix things
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Been using it for over a decade!

I've been using TurboTax for over a decade now! It's always been a user-friendly, reliable way to do my taxes and know that everything has been done properly and according to up-to-date tax laws. There are links and help guides for any questions or concerns you may have. There's no need to call a CPA, because TurboTax has it all!
This year when I updated the program, my husband's W-2 info was dumped! In addition, several calculations based on our investments were several thousands of dollars off! I've never had trouble with TurboTax before, so I immediately knew something was wrong.
I simply reentered my husband's W-2 and hand input our investment info and "whallah!" TurboTax calculated the taxes perfectly. I don't know if the glitch was from doing the update or if it was on the end of my investment brokerage firm.
If the glitches hadn't occurred, I'd give TurboTax 5 STARS!
Hopefully, this is the only glitch out of many perfect years of filing. Other than that, I'm a very happy customer!
