What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: the investment part of stock sales requiring form 8949

Sooo easy

This makes several straight years I've use Turbo Tax for both federal and state returns. Honestly, it's so easy I cannot imagine why anyone wouldn't use it. (I bet the CPAs who charge an arm and a leg use it, based on what they require you to submit to them!) I'll keep using Turbo Tax until I'm too feeble to use a keyboard!
What's great about it: Step by step, with no confusion
What's not so great: A bit awkward to go back, but workable

Fast and Easy

The application flows logically and the selections are intuitive. I have been purchasing TT since 1999 graduating from the standard package to TT Deluxe around 2003. I strongly recommend it, although I seriously considered other vendor software this year for the first time.
What's great about it: Luv my TT. The option to explore on my own and choose what I want to work on makes filing fast and easy.
What's not so great: State filing is too expensive. Also, the change in tax packages forced loyal users to purchase more expensive packages.

No Print Button

An excellent program that ends poorly
What's great about it: Print option turns you toward Fax.
What's not so great: No Print Button like last year. You have the choice of a PDF file.

Alway right on the money

I've been using Turbo Tax since 1996, and never had any problems with program. Since we've had to e-file, I don't like the fact that there is no evident way of printing the e-file receipt after you send it. You have to save a print screen and do it that way. Not user friendly. That would be the only thing that I find wrong with the program.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: That you can't print the e-fie receipt. Their is no print icon

So Simple and Easy to Understand!!

This is one of the methods to allow me to do my taxes professionally and with utmost accuracy. It is very rewarding to enter data and see the progress of your return, especially the amount due as a refund, or the payment amount due. With TurboTax Premier, the staff at INTUIT has really done their homework. It is truly a pleasure to be able to file my taxes in a complex array of forms and rules issued by the Internal Revenue Service and knowing that I am complying with all the requirements and forms when I use TurboTax. Thank you for making a complicated task an easy one to complete!!
What's great about it: Entry of data; easily comprehended; great detail; phone support!!
What's not so great: Nothing

Just as good as ever

As usual Turbo Tax did the job with ease and no pain at all. The only gripe, and it looks like many other folks had the same gripe as myself- Was that the company decided to combine two different products into one and jack up the price. Totally unfair, more so when there's competition out there that is just as good. So stop doing things like that next year, and leave things the way they were with the 2013 tax year products.
What's great about it: Easy to work with and understand
What's not so great: Don't like how you combined two products into one
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Worked like a charm

I've used Turbo Tax for so many years, I would dread going back to the old-fashioned do-it-yourself. And in this day and tax-age, I don't think anyone should be doing it themselves. Turbo Tax makes it an easier process. That said, if they make me buy Premier next year because I have investments, I'll be shopping my alternatives.
What's great about it: It's great to import financial info
