Deluxe vs Premium

Turbo Tax is easy to use. I have really liked using the Deluxe version in previous years and was wary upset about having to convert to Premium. It was good that it was free but I had to wait about 3+ hours total to make the upgrade. The wait time were awful. Hopefully, it will not be necessary to upgrade next year. If it is, I'll probably either do it by hand or look for another software package.
What's great about it: It's good to be able to have your info from last year transferred
What's not so great: having to upgrade to Premium
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Everything was good until I had to do AZ state tax after my HI state and Federal which all went well. Moving and having to do two States and all the issues AZ had for the first time. Asked question I had never heard before and your on line site for help did not have the answers. However after a few calls and a few more hours it was all taken care of and done. Thanks God for that.
What's great about it: Worked well for most part easy to file
What's not so great: Rental Property was not on form I had to go find it.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Easy and Time Saving

I will use this software next year and have used it several prior years.
What's great about it: Liked Step by Step and able to look directly at Forms.
What's not so great: None that I know of

Easier than doing it myself

I have no desire to review all tax law changes every year, nor do I enjoy math, not do I like erasing and rewriting every time I find another document. I have been using Turbotax for over 20 years and do not intend to stop
What's great about it: No math, no extensive knowledge needed
What's not so great: haven't found one yet

Nobody Beats TurboTax!

Nobody beats Intuit TurboTax when it comes to pricing, ease of use, and customer support. As I have said before, TurboTax has me a customer for life!
What's great about it: Inexpensive, Easy, Great Customer Support!
What's not so great: No Cons

Former Professional Intuit Tax User

As a retired CPA I was used to using professional tax preparation softwear. I filed my first returns with Turbo Tax five years ago, and had difficulty with all the questions and navagation of the input screens.
Since then, software had become more intuitive over these years and I am not having any frustrations as in the past.

Have used Turbo Tax for years. In the old days, I used to pay someone to complete my taxes. But I would never do it again after using Turbo Tax. It's easy - even if you aren't a tax whiz.
What's great about it: Transfer of info, ability to pick and choose how to input, and final review
What's not so great: NC state had to be modified for my specific situation

Turbo Tax

Was quite upset after buying deluxe version, which I have used for many years, and finding out it did not cover investments. You also moved state off of it although I do not have a state income tax so that is not an issue for me. Intuit did send me a free copy of Premier to use for 2014 taxes. I have read that the deluxe version will include investments again for 2015. I sure hope so or I will be trying different software.
I have been very happy with my use of Turbo Tax. Thought of giving you one star because of your unannounced changes but since you provided a copy, decided on 4 stars. It was deceptive though.
What's great about it: Continued to be easy to use
