Been using TurboTax since 2007 and was very disappointed this year---2012 state tax brought over instead of 2013 and no back up for ABP adjustment nor for adjustment for tax exempt interest. I question what else is incorrect and/or missing. Just sent return to IRS and NYS. Hope they're accepted and not rejected because 1099 data doesn't match.

Other than loading very slowly i felt my experience was good
What's great about it: Ease of doing the forms
What's not so great: Slow load up

One State Return was Rejected

In past 23 years was able to download info from a financial institution into my tax forms but for 2014 using TT Deluxe but for 2014 I had to upgrade to TT Premium in order to do so. Also, TT charged me for 2 state filings when one of these should have been free. TT corrected this issue after I contacted Service and Support.
What's great about it: TT walked me through its correction
What's not so great: Getting more difficult each year

Almost 20 Years of Accuracy

While we usually have very high praise for Turbo Tax, this year we encountered problems. The resolution involved uninstalling and then re-installing the program - frustrating to have to enter all that information again!! Consequently, this year we are a little less certain about the accuracy and are still wondering about one thing: Our 1099-R very clearly says "include with your return if withholding is shown" and yet there is no 1099-R included with what was filed. We'll see what the IRS has to say about that.....
What's great about it: "EasyStep" makes it really easy to be thorough
What's not so great: This is the first year we've ever had problems with the program

Easy As Possible

Easy process when you have an easy return m(i.e. don't own a house, no dependents). Worked through the return and the submission quickly.
What's great about it: Simple
What's not so great: Helpful, but walked thru a lot a I didn't need

Easier than a CPA

I really like TurboTax, however it was not made apparent on how to import my old return's personal information since I purchased new software from a retailer rather than online.
What's great about it: Import of documents from banks and brokerage firms
What's not so great: none
