Expensive, but easy to use

I have been using Turbo Tax for years, and have always found it easy to use and thorough. Price went up this year, but it was still worth it.
What's great about it: Well-organized, easy to use, thorough checking

Shocker start, but great refund in the end

Once I figured out that I had to upgrade to the more expensive program to do the same return issues as last year...not a happy beginning...the process went well. Question...why did we have to upgrade to a more expensive product. Seemed like it benefitted your company, but not your customer!!!!!!!!!
What's great about it: I love the ease of using your program.
What's not so great: Didn't know I'd have to upgrade to more expensive program to do basically same return as last year.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Makes filing Federal and State tax returns easy

Using TurboTax to fill out and then file my Federal and State income tax returns is so much easier than doing it with paper, pen, liquid white out, and a calculator.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: None that I found

Love Turbo Tax except the flaws

Make doing your taxes seem easy and like a breeze. Although this time I ran into some problems.
The program kept telling me there was an error and I should have left a field blank. It was blank. Then when I went to e-file it wouldn't let me because this box "needed to be blank" I deleted the zero that was in this box but it would reappear and tell me there was an error all over again. I am having to mail the forms because this won't allow me to bypass this. Took pictures of my screen and posted so hopefully they fix this. For the extra time spent I almost feel like I should get my money back.

Could not purchase e-file for state

I finished my taxes and tried to e-file my state taxes. Fail! Tried several times, but to no-avail. I think some server was down.

I love using TurboTax. I know I will get all the deductions I possibly can using their program. The e-filing feature for Federal taxes is effortless and they make it easy to arrange payment for e-filing State taxes. I donate household goods and their ItsDeductible feature lists suggested donation values on items that get me a generous deduction. I highly recommend TurboTax!
What's great about it: The instructions are simple and easy to follow. I have been using TurboTax for years and I totally trust the program!
What's not so great: None this year. It was quicker and easier than last year.
