I had a very positive experience with your customer service person on Feb. 22nd, 2015 at 800-446-8848. She took a personal interest in aligning my specific tax needs to the best possible program, (Premier), to address same. It is this sort of customer care that creates the difference between simply filling orders and generating genuine trust in a service to meet specific needs. I really do appreciate going the extra mile!
What's great about it: as close to layman terminology as accuracy will allow
What's not so great: meanings of tax catagories not always cut and dry

2014 Turbo Tax

Last year in transferring my 1099 B from brokerage, turbo tax double entered a result which meant I paid a much higher tax
than expected. I did not pick it up until this year when filing 2014
return so I had to file an amended form after the dead line and had to submit by mail. This was most frustrating since it was not picked up on the reviewing.

Great Program

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and this year's return seems to be the easiest and slickest yet. As you are led through the program, you gain great confidence that your return is being prepared accurately, according to the mammoth US Tax Code.
I recommend this product for everyone!

What's not so great: You need a bit of tax knowledge to get the most out of the program

Have been using TT for over 10 years and I find it to be very user friendly.
What's great about it: If there is something missing confusing with the software, customer support makes up for it.

Overall an improvement each year. I wish I could say that about Intuits other products - unfortunately I can't.
What's great about it: Does the job and gets a little smoother each year - somebody is listening
What's not so great: On multiple entries, i.e. multiple rental properties, all of the same information must be re input for each entry.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Awesome as always

Seriously, the questions are awesome; they make sure you haven't forgotten something you did 12 months ago. But if you go backwards then forward again, you have to re-answer the same questions. I guess that could be good because things may have changed. I also really like being about to view/adjust the forms or worksheets when I view them. I learned taxes the old fashioned way; so I like to review the forms before filing. Its great to see how the system takes what I've entered and finds/places the information on all the correct forms. I've used and prefer TurboTax for over 10 years, despite having worked for another tax prep firm.
What's great about it: Constant questions to make sure you've considered everything

Great software Year-in and Out

Have used it for over 10 years and never had a problem. It is good.
What's great about it: Nice software. Helpful in guidance and takes you through all sections with relevant prompts.
What's not so great: Sometimes takes too long to start and always tries to download latest patches. GOod and Bad at the same time.
