It's Deductible

Always easy and can easily input charitable and money donations into It's Deductible during the year. Can quickly change forgotten info into It's Deductible and reload into TurboTax.
What's great about it: Ability to transfer previous year's data
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Smooth process

This years version worked much better than prior years. It was much smoother, no lag, and I didn't see any bugs...unlike the last few years. The Premiere version really helped me in a few spots, so I guess I can't complain about having to get that version. Overall, best experience with Turbotax in years (I use the CD version)
What's great about it: Software worked much better than past years
What's not so great: Deluxe / Premier fiasco

TURBOTAX is max!

I love turbotax. This is about the 10th year of using software.
Also, the user question and answer helps the user understand and get some insight from other users. This is my first year using this feature. I know they may not be the experts but it helps ask the right question if nothing else.

What's great about it: For the most part is user friendly and easy to use.
What's not so great: Make instructions fit the common man also. Check out the user questions and answers.

Very Good Product

A great product that helps take the drudgery out of doing a tax return. The interface is easy to use and the information provided is enough to get you through from start to end. The CA state tax portion is extremely easy and fast.
I would rate the product excellent but it isn't quite there. I still found myself going through the internet for better explanations in certain sections. All in all, it is a very good product.
What's great about it: Easy to use and enter data. Audit at the end to find possible errors is excellent.
What's not so great: Help section is just OK.

Not quite up to the usual high standards

The handling of healthcare taxes was actually pretty painless after I got Form 1095-A. I had to upgrade to TurboTax Premium for my stock sales, which was never necessary in the past. Luckily this was free. Had a difficult time with my Form 5498 because the software wanted to tax my direct IRA rollover. I eventually discovered that Form 5498 is only for my information and doesn't need to be entered. After TurboTax said my return was clean it then proceeded to come up with several minor items that needed corrected. In the end the return looked correct. I will continue to purchase it.
What's great about it: Incorporated Healthcare tax
What's not so great: Had to upgrade (but free) and found some minor glitches

Turbo Tax is the easiest program to use!

This is my 5th year using Turbo Tax, It is the easiest program to use. As long as I have all my paperwork in order I can usually complete and file my taxes online within 2 hours or less. It is just so easy! Highly recommended!!!
What's great about it: Easy, step-by-step directions to follow
What's not so great: Can't think of anything!

Straightforward software

I've used Turbo Tax for years and it works very well, stepping me through the data entry process for both standard and tricky areas. It is very helpful for some of the investment entries that I'm not as familiar with.
What's great about it: Guided entry is a win

Will Use Again Next Year

Not sure if I completed health insurance section correctly. The choices and instructions were confusing. I was on medicare with a HD suppl for the whole year. My wife was on an employer plan for half the year and then retired. She then had to use my insurance company with a HD plan. I seemed than none of the choices fit our situation.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to use.
What's not so great: Health care and insurance section was confusing
