If you need to show growth, raise the prices, instead of acting like a big bank.
What's great about it: Still solid software.
What's not so great: Poor marketing.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Very Well Done

I always wind up with a Standard Deduction, but I have to wade through all the deduction categories before I get it. You should have a short cut that allows someone like me to go directly to the Standard Deduction to save time.
What's great about it: ease of use
What's not so great: needs a short cut

Rental Income

The Tax software talks about rental income in 2 sections, almost led me to declare that the income was twice the amount that I received and therefore could have paid too much in taxes

Best Tax PKG around!

Keep up thee good work! Still the best Tax PKG around.
What's great about it: TurboTax ease of use from year to year with max refund!
What's not so great: Don't increase cost and change of forms required with out notifiing your good coustomers. I now require Preium pkg!

Premier - Lite User

I don't use a lot of Premier functions but the software stepped me through stock options and tax credits for energy improvements. I do wish someone would help companies list cost basis in a more clear manner.
What's great about it: Import from previous year, help points to IRS pubs

Other than the problem with having to upgrade to Premier, I had one other issue when recording my non-cash charitable donation transactions. I inadvertently had two transactions on the same date. It would not accept the entries and would only take "various" without any explanation. Once I figured out the duplication, then it worked fine. Need a better error message system.
Overall, it worked simple and well this year.
What's great about it: Like being able to pick my own areas to focus on instead of going thru the canned presentation
What's not so great: Needing to upgrade to Premier. Deluxe with State return always worked in the past fine.

Doing Taxes is (almost) fun!

I don't think I'll ever use any other tax preparation software or help other than Turbo Tax! I highly recommend it.
What's great about it: I appreciate the step -by step guidance and the option to get more information about the process as I go along
What's not so great: Nothing that I can think of. There is a slight learning curve, but that's to be expected

Almost perfect product

I had difficulty going back into the forms to find a place to add a local tax. Also, foreign tax credit appears to be deducted as an itemized amount and then as a credit? Otherwise, easy. Difficulty is always in collecting the information/amounts to enter and "proper" way to total amounts.
Nice that we did not have to enter dates and addresses this year for donations.
What's great about it: Easier than doing it yourself.
What's not so great: I had some difficulty find places for deductions.
