Turbo Tax is easy to work with and FAST. It covers everything with clear explanations. We like e-filing and quick e-mails with updates. We get fast refunds from the state. It is easy to work on the document, and finish it the next day. I can review our entries to check for completeness of return. We like having a preview copy and that Turbo Tax auto loads information from previous years.

still a good program, but the decision to require premier to do what the deluxe program did last year is pricing the software well above competitors with the same capability.

Makes Filing Easy!

Turbo Tax is user friendly and walks you through each step and asks questions about any potential income, then deductions. I like that you can see a comparison from the previous years return (if you used the program the year before). This helps me know if I've missed anything. The review and audit is very helpful to let you know if there is an area missed or entered incorrectly. I've never had a problem with any returns using Turbo Tax.

It felt at times I was supposed to go to the business property sale section and at other times the sale of home section. Also, I've been amortizing closing costs to refinance this rental for the past 9 years and this was always transferred as a category to make an entry in from my prior years return. This year it did not offer it, I had to go looking for it.
2 minor things, but steps backwards, all else was good
What's great about it: Generally as easy and thorough as ever
What's not so great: Sale of home and capital gain exclusion confusing

Worked well, after the "Deluxe" fiasco

As usual TurboTax worked well and was easy to prepare. Would have given an "Excellent" rating, except for the early problems with the Deluxe version not having all of the options as previously. But since this was fixed and let me upgrade to Premier without additional money, I will give it 4 stars.
Make certain Deluxe keeps all of the features as in previous years!
