Different to the point of confusion

OK, but still needs work. Not a mess, but in the end of it the review gave me a migraine. I still don't understand the problem, but I jiggled some numbers and checkmarks around and I guess it did the trick. Still baffled about that. ALSO, it gave me the opportunity to get Quicken for free if I did the automatic sign up thing, but, all it did was reroute me to do my tax return again for 2014 (What the...? I just did it! Why is it confusing me some more? The new page it sent me to should have had the 2014 there as being filed with the Feds and the State. What a migraine!) ALSO: Not all tax returns that I have done with Turbo Tax are visible from the program. It is a pain and scarey to wonder what the hecks going on with Turbo Tax records when they have no .. none... zip... idea that I have been a LOYAL customer of Turbo Tax since over a decade ago! Why the messy account maintenance? Get that fixed. ALSO: I am supposed to get a free Quicken program, which would be great since I am trying to start my wife up in a new business. You need to help me with that. ALSO: I am a student, full time, and I didn't get any opportunity to deduct costs. That's all fouled up! What gives? Maybe next year? I pay so much money for things and your program is basically a miss on that for me EACH AND EVERY YEAR.
What's great about it: simple,
What's not so great: Review process revealled confusing problem with no explanation on how to fix

Smooth and quick again.

Another in a long series of TurboTax filings went smoothly. This was a quiet financial year, so I probably didn't need Premier, but it was nice to know all the tools were ready to go when I was. Next year could be more challenging as I move into retirement so I will stick with TurboTax Premier. TT asks all the right questions of me, then displays the fields that the IRS wants to know about. Tons better than reading tens of thousands of pages of regulations or hiring tax preparers or accountants.
What's great about it: Compares data to last year's entries
What's not so great: nothing
Pros: I bought or sold investments

The software is great. That language is simple and easy to understand for tax preparation. The hardest part was getting our preliminary documents together.
What's great about it: Walked us through the forms
What's not so great: Software had to update itself (ran 2 times)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Turbo tax was easy to use and with the ability to import the data from my brokerage firm made the filling process easy and eliminates mistakes from transferring data by hand.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions and help available
What's not so great: MN concerns with none Intuit issues
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Painless in St. Louis

I have a above average tax return with IRA distributions, home and rental property. It does a great job of carrying over information from prior years, figures depreciation, etc. I have used TurboTax for many years and my family uses it exclusively. I love it!! Makes a rather unpleasant job of doing taxes pleasant.
What's great about it: Very easy and quite comprehensive-even complex issues!!!
What's not so great: None

Again, tax time not as bad as it could have been

Tax time is relatively easy. Turbotax imports 95% of what you need to tell Uncle Sam. The rest isn't too bad to enter by hand. Conscientious use of It's Deductible helps a lot, too.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
Pros: I moved
