Will be my last time turbotax. Very deceptive with the expiration of the free state filing, some forms were not available until after that date. 1st time I have had to pay for a state filing. Will use H&R Block next year.

I found myself caught in situations where I answered a question incorrectly and it was very difficult to correct. I actually would have liked a start over option. I also have a form I am supposed to mail in unless it was auto send along concerning other state tax. I am unclear whether it was sent or not. I do like TurboTax and will be back next year.
What's great about it: I like being asked or guided along the process and being able to see individual forms.
What's not so great: Sometimes the questions are not absolutely clear and can cause confusion.

Took a day to troubleshoot S/W signature issues.
What's great about it: Transfers last year's data.
What's not so great: Software issues!

Turbo Tax is the Best

Turbo Tax is the best software out there! It doesn't waste time and is very thorough. Their system of checking for errors has always worked for me. I love you guys!

Easy to Use

I've been using Turbo Tax since I started to work back in 1996. Easy to use and install, though the program could run a little faster. It works as expected.
What's great about it: easy to use, easy to install
What's not so great: software updates are slow, start up is slow

2015 tax return

I have used TurboTax for the last 5 years and have always found it to be easy to use. After reading the reviews from other people I was disappointed that some forms were removed from the Deluxe version. Not knowing for sure if I needed the Premier version or not I proceed with the Deluxe version. I was very happy to see that when I needed the Premier version, TurboTax upgraded me at no charge. After serving in a customer support role for over 25 years this was a class act. I suggest that TurboTax think ahead next time they decide to make such a change in the software.
What's great about it: Free upgrade to Premier
What's not so great: Difficult to find out where to enter my 1040-ES Estimated Tax payments

Some questions unanswered

Without using Forms 1116, had hard time figuring Canadian funded retirement that was already taxed by Canada. Also had difficulty interpreting how loss on property sale could be expressed on Schedule D. Don't understand "carry over".
What's great about it: Very Comprehensive !
What's not so great: 2 posed questions never answered.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
