TurboTax did not tell me until I had completed all forms that the Maryland state form for partial year residence was not available and that I could file electronically w/o this.Why not tell users when they put in residence information at beginning of process?

This year's changes were not good.
What's great about it: Transfer of information from 2013
What's not so great: Not as user friendly as in the past.

Do not know why you changed Deluxe for someone with limited stock sales. Deluxe worked the last few years but I had to go to Premier this year. Not happy about the change.
What's great about it: Asks all the questions.
What's not so great: Had to pay more by forced to upgrade to Premier.

Turbo Tax for 2015 is still great

Overall Turbo Tax worked very well for my 2015 taxes. I had stocks and many itemized deductions to deal with so that is why I will always suggest premier version.

All was great and easy. I got stuck on the review when payments and costs of daughter's tuition were the same. The payments was auto-filled and needed to be made "0" to continue and file.
Also, I entered one broker's capital gains info, but when I went to put another brokers capital gain info, it would not let me, on several attempts, without upgrading to premium, " for free"
weird.

Now I cant continue without a nickname? if I don't have a nickname or put anything in it wont go forward. who cares?
all in all, great and I will return again next year.

Easy As Pie

I was intimidated with doing my own taxes, but Turbo tax walked me through every step of the way. I compared with past tax returns and I feel very confident with my own return using Turbo tax.

Question pages returing to to top of page every time
What's great about it: Brokarage Info download (1099-r, DIv, INT,, ETC)
What's not so great: E-filing hang-up due to state charge.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
