Prior to starting my taxes this year, I wasn't sure if I would be able to figure out how to enter all the forms I had this year ranging from the W2 and several 1099R forms to investments and deductions. Happily, the step-by-step instructions were terrific and I really like being able to simply download the appropriate information/forms directly from my investment company.
What's great about it: step-by-step guidance very helpful
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Have used TurboTax many years and would not want to try anything else. It is easier for me to use than tax software at one of the Tax Preparation businesses where I went to the training school.
What's great about it: Information transferred from last year's return on the form
What's not so great: Editing a deduction does not fix an error
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Ran into my first software issue this year after error free years of use. Your support team responded quickly to resolve my issue and I am even more impressed than ever. Easy to use and excellent support when required. I am sold on Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Guidance throughout the effort and carry over from previous year's info is Super!
What's not so great: After many years as a dedicated user, I ran into my first issue with the software, but support team resolved quickly.

I found the tax payment options confusing.
Federal - Direct Debit, Credit Card (plus Convenience Fee), or Mail Check State - Direct Debit or Mail Check, but required Credit Card for filing fee.
I went "BACK" to change payment method, but not sure if I filed my Federal Taxes twice (2X).
Need an up front explanation.
What's great about it: Overall Guidance is good and easy to follow
What's not so great: Payment Options Confusing
