Small but nice!

I have been doing my own taxes along with my 3 kids' for the
past 10 or more years. I have to say Turbo Tax has not let me down! They stay up on every tax law and every form you
need to get the job done the right way every time. This program has grabbed my heart and a little of my money every
year, but I think I am way ahead from the returns it finds for
me. I will definietly use this until I don't have to pay taxes
again!

What's great about it: Way easy to get through...

2nd year with turbo tax

I purchased turbo tax last year because I had a new rental property. It made preparing my taxes much easier so I bought it again this year. Since the program pulled information from last years return, it was even easier to file this year!
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: Can be difficult to navigate for first timers

Small Print

The font size is very small and although I have a 27" monitor I could not enlarge the type in the window to make things easy to read and to make the boxes easy to read as I filled in the boxes with names, numbers or other data. This led to errors in numbers I entered.
What's not so great: There is no way to enlarge the size of the type on the screen

Feeling Of Confidence

Multi-year TurboTax user. The software interface is user friendly and leaves me with the feeling I have not missed anything in filing my taxes and that my refund is maximized when applicable. The complicated nature of filing USA tax returns is made much simpler with TurboTax!
What's great about it: Filing taxes is like answering a series of interview questions.
What's not so great: N/A
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

They think of everything!

I like this product because it hits every area I need and I understand eveything they are talking about. I work on my taxes at my own pace and the error correction makes me feel comfortable that all my bases are covered.
What's great about it: Easy to understand and gets every detail
What's not so great: No complaints

Mixed Bag

Disappointed in buying the Deluxe version as in past years only to discover an essential piece needed was only available on Premier version. Additionally, once Premier installed per instructions, additional problems required additional steps to resolve and make the program work.
What's great about it: Generally a streamlined process
What's not so great: Problems implementing fix

Great Customer Service

We had a problem with our download option so had to call in. I was on hold for almost 10 minutes but the rep was so helpful and even gave us a free upgrade to Premier! Turbo tax is easy to use, that's why we use it every year.
What's great about it: Very friendly and helpful
What's not so great: Long wait time on hold

Had to pay an extra $30!

I got the emails about the lack of stuff with the deluxe version this year but didn't think it would apply to me. Now I've paid the extra $30 and don't know how to get back the $25 mentioned in the previous emails.
I'm widowed and my kids are grown, FYI.
What's great about it: fairly easy to use
What's not so great: had to pay the extra $30
