Works Great

Product works great and tech support does a great job. Making changes in the different software packages you sell can cause
some problems.

Deluxe, premier, drop function in deluxe so user would have
to buy premier to finish taxes smoothly . I have use deluxe for

What's great about it: gets the job done. Feels correct when taxes are filed
What's not so great: transfer of 2013 ES-tax payments for fed and state same to cause confusion

Fast and Easy

I have used tubo tax for 6 years, and it gets better and easier to use every year.
What's great about it: Imports data from previous year, walks you through all necessary steps, does all calculating for you, e-filing
What's not so great: none

Gettin' my money

I've used TurboTax for many years, and I can honestly say that it makes a multi-hour headache into a thirty to 45 minute time of refund based excitement. My only gripe is that it doesn't smoothly transfer from the e-filing system to the paper filing system if you decide to e-file with the feds and then paper file with your state. You have to crawl back through the menus to get to a place to print your state returns instead of getting there automatically after e-filing your federal return for free. This is a big deal to me, because the cost of e-filing my state return is often a decent chunk of said state return. It also doesn't help you set up a direct deposit option for that printed return.
What's great about it: Very fast, thorough, and user friendly
What's not so great: Does not help with mixed filing methods (e-file to feds, paper to state)

Lots of helpful questions and directions

I really like how TurboTax asks questions in plain language and is able to convert that into your tax return. It eases the process of doing one's taxes and gives me confidence that I am completing my taxes properly. Also, the user interface is easy to navigate. Finally, it was so great that I could automatically import data from my employer, financial institutions, etc. - this makes it so easy and error-free.
What's great about it: The Q&A format is easy to follow
What's not so great: The price of e-filing

Turbo Tax needs a place where we can ask questions to an Accountant. Otherwise, I am happy with Turbo Tax.

Completed the tax forms easily and quickly.

I have used the program for around 7 years now and I really enjoy filing my taxes now. Electronically being walked through all the required forms is much easier than having to manually figure out what is needed and how to get the form. Also really like the ability to download from the financial centers. Easy to follow and understand.
What's great about it: Easy t understan. Follows easy route. Loads info from past. Explains details. On line review.
What's not so great: Will have to upgrade next year because of K-1 requirements.

I think my email address should be inserted with Personal Info. I had mine changed and wondered throughout the return if my old address was hidden in TT somewhere, thankfully it was at the end. But I did waste a lot of time looking around TT to change my address.
