My Tax Go To Every Year

I have used Turbo Tax to file my taxes for the past 15 years. I love it and I know I can always count on them being accurate. I love that it is self-guided but I can access a tax professional if I need them. I recommend this product to anyone who asks! The only thing I would like to see change in the future is a discount for return users.
What's great about it: Simple, accurate, easy to understand, user friendly
What's not so great: I wish return users got a discount
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

My 2014 Turbo Tax Experience

My experience is that this Turbo Tax product improves each year that I use it, and this is the 5th consecutive year.
I am very confident that my tax returns are accurate and will withstand an audit. The tutorial format is easy to work with, and helps me to include tax items that I may have otherwise forgotten.
I used to have a CPA do my taxes and never felt this confident. So now I have complete confidence in my tax returns and have saved myself several hundred dollars!
What's great about it: Easy to use, thorough and complete. It improves every year !
What's not so great: I don't have anything negative to say about Turbo Tax

Simple and easy to follow

very easy to install and use. asks the correct questions so that anyone can use the software and get their tax information done easily.
What's great about it: it walks you through everything step by step and asks to make sure you get the right info to the correct line.
What's not so great: none!

Still Good as ever

If you are willing to pay attention and follow the instructions carefully everything will go very well. Being able to select what topic to work on when you are familiar with a particular area or let the program take you through everything is a plus.
When you are really comfortable you can make entries directly on the forms themselves. I've used TurboTax since its beginning.

What's great about it: Straight forward Step-by Step instructions
What's not so great: Can't remember any now but I sense they were minor

2014 Premier Surprise

Big surprise in having to move up to Premier. I had already bought deluxe. Good thing I had not opened the package. I do not look forward to spending the extra dollars next year. I will shop around.
For whatever reason there was not the comparison to last year's (2012) Turbo Tax return that I am used to seeing as I step through the process.
What's great about it: Good step by step. Easy e-file
What's not so great: Had to move up from 2031 deluxe- very unhappy. Did not show comparison to my 2013 Turbo Tax

Quick, easy and painless.

If i ran into a problem or needed an explanation, it was there. Its like having a tax consultant in your room with you.
What's great about it: Step by step walk-trough is great!
What's not so great: None
