Not buying state anymore,always a problem. 3 years in a row.
What's great about it: federal tax went smooth as butter.
What's not so great: Always have trouble with state return. Everything is great,until a last minute blank needs to be filled with no explanat

Rental Property Income and Expenses

just a quick comment, it was difficult finding Form E to enter my rental property income and expenses, but I finally figured it out
if someone indicates they have rental property they should be taken at some point to Form E without them having to search all over

Excellent Program

I have been using turbo tax since the 80's and every year I get the best return possible. I especially like to do what if's with my return and I can make retirement and financial decisions that give me an accurate estimate of the consequences of my decisions. I talked my entire adult family into using either the on line version or the desktop version. I did not have to assist them t all. I had them use the interview method when they first started and they were thrilled they saved hundreds of dollars in prep fees.
What's great about it: Very intuitive, accurate, exceeds my needs, saves me a lot of money
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Easy as usual

Slick as can be, same as every year. The only issue I ran into was trying to get an adjustment code of B on the 8949. I had to call in to figure that out, but we got it. Everything else was smooth as silk! Great job Turbo Tax Premier!
What's great about it: Simple walk through prompts

Turbo Tax makes it so fast and simple.

Turbo Tax leaves me believing that I have entered everything necessary as it walks you through all the possibilities of Income; Deductions; credits etc.
What's great about it: They walk you through everything.
What's not so great: That the STATE was not included in the Deluxe version this year and had to be purchased seperate.

Having to charge the amount due? Really? Also having to upgrade to just do a basic return with some investments. Hope you all see that short term profits are not worth long term customer loyalty

I FEEL THAT A EFILE STATE SHOULD BE PART OF THE COST
What's not so great: NOT HAPPY THAT I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA TO EFILE MY STATE
