A few hours and I was done with what seemed like a very complicated return.
What's great about it: Very precise
What's not so great: Unable to download from my financial institution

2014 TurboTax Review

Have used Turbo Tax for many years to file personal and business returns. For most normal circumstances, have not had to research anywhere else to get my questions answered. It makes carry over items automatic and eliminates digging through past returns to get special information for each filing. When additional information is needed, guides are available to answer these questions.
What's great about it: Everything in one package
What's not so great: Takes personal interaction out of filing, thus requiring some research if questions arise

I'd prefer just being able to select individual tax forms (ie 1099INT,1099DIV,etc) and filling in the blanks

Your new program refused to use my 2013 Tax return for bringing forward info for the 2014 return. Perhaps this is because I was forced to upgrade from Turbo Tax Deluxe to Turbo Tax Investments & Rental Property. That does not set well for me!!!!!
What's great about it: I have used Turbo Tax for several years
What's not so great: I had to use an upgraded Turbo Tax that cost more money

Cannot Be Any Easier

I've been using TurboTax for more than 15 years and continue to be satisfied with the product. My tax requirements are not complicated, but I was a bit concerned to make sure that I filed correctly after my first year of retirement. Easy peasy!
What's great about it: Ease of use, accuracy, reliable
What's not so great: Paying to efile state return
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

So Easy To Do Taxes

Filing your taxes are made so simple by using Turbo Tax-even with dividends. Thanks to Turbo Tax and the Accountants.
