Super Easy!

I've used Turbo Tax for several years now but this year we had more complicated issues like selling of mutual funds, kids entering college, and our income increasing. Turbo tax walked me through step by step and made it so easy. It also made it nice to help me make sure I wasn't forgetting a form that needed to be filed or a deduction I could qualify for. I discovered some new ones this year! I also really liked the "what's this" after each question. If I wasn't sure if it was something I could claim, the explanation did a great job giving me that answer.
What's great about it: Easy step by step, great explanations
What's not so great: The AMT was confusing and not sure if I would even qualify.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

this year your product was more confusing too many questions On your estate product the nominee distribution information was not there ???
What's great about it: as in the past placement of input is easy don't ask every time a div let the drop down "put in on your own" sooner
What's not so great: did not contain all forms

Accuracy is essential

I have used Turbo Tax for over 15 years. I trust their calculations and always feel I have gotten the most out of my deductions. Sometimes it is important to check the IRS Pub. and most of what you need is available with just a click or two inside TurboTax. Make sure the version you purchase has all the forms you will need. 2015 wasn't a good year for that!!
What's great about it: Ease of entering information,transferring is wonderful
What's not so great: Schedule D not included in usual product!

Change of State and Mind

It's all in the small PRINT

I have used your product since the first year it came out. I used it the first time a month after I had completed a 3 hour undergraduate Federal Income Tax accounting class. I could not believe how easy it made preparing an income tax return. I was pleased again when you added state returns. I love the way it imports income items, especially my brokerage reports. I have some suggestions.
For the first time every I experienced a mistake with your program. It imported the wrong amount for my State refund from 2013 to this year. My 2013 documents showed the correct amount and I am not sure where it got the number it used. I used the edit function to correct the amount. To the program's credit it caught its own error and alerted me to the fact the amount entered didn't match last years return. Needs to be checked.
Now for the print issue. The pop up help window's text is sooooo small you can barely read them. Not much help. The same small text appears at the end when you are filing your refund and paying for your state returns with a credit card. Yes I am old, but my vision is 20/20 with my glasses.
Overall a great product that I will continue to use.
What's great about it: I have used your program since the first year it came out. It works wonders.
What's not so great: I had an error in your software and whats with the small print??

Wow! I have been a Turbo Tax user for years. I truly appreciate that you made good on your mistake and will forever be greatful.
It took less time then ever before. Being familiar with the previous years process certainly helped.
What's great about it: Ease of going back and checking on entries.
What's not so great: Nothing, it was the best year ever.
