Excellent Tax Program

The program is excellent in all ways except printing returns for mailing. Wish it had just a straight forward click for this task. Other than that, Outstanding job.
What's great about it: Walks you through Step-By-Step in order to maximize your deduction for the greatest return.
What's not so great: Printing returns to file by mail.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Been using for at least six years (or more) and find it to be consistently clear, not difficult to navigate and accurate.
What's great about it: Clarity, accuracy
What's not so great: None

Easy Tax Return this year

Easy and simple, only took me a hour for a complicated return
What's great about it: Downloaded Investment information made DIV etc. easy
What's not so great: Thought the State filing was free this year

The product as always is very simple to use and works excellent. I would suggest that the options available in the basic version in previous years are made available in the 2015 basic version. I don't think the additional cost of having to purchase the premium version is worth it and would consider switching software.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: Being forced to upgrade when the basic version used to work

Great Program Easy to Use

I can't remember the first year I used turbo tax but I can't due without this tool for filing my taxes. I feel that this is a complete program that can be used by anyone. I have helped both my children file taxes for the first year and the second year they have been able to handle on their own. Great program that takes some of the pain out of doing what is necessary.
What's great about it: Step by Step Process is easy to understand and use.
What's not so great: None if all data is submitted

Solid Step by Step work = Great refund

The process of starting was easy because I had used tubo tax the previous year and it imported information about my job and house so that I did not have to reenter all of that info from scratch. That was the easy part and was good. However the huge amount of options and credits creates a haze of options. I went through all of them just to be sure but that was more than 3 hours of hard concentration to get my full deduction. So many choices that finally got me a good refund.
What's great about it: I like the about this sections that give me extra info on a deduction or income item
What's not so great: So many options it is easy to get confused had to go back several times

great as usual

best thing since sliced bread and just as great as in prior years. I have always bought and used the delux and it was always just right for my situation. the problems with the program this year were fixed at no charge which shows what a great company you are. my only question is for next year. will I have to buy the premier and get a lot of things I don't need or will the delux be okay for my simple situation.
What's great about it: concise, accurate, and quick
What's not so great: program problems at first , but fixed at no charge.

Why the change?

After years of using Deluxe, I was less than thrilled to learn that the one form I need has now been moved to Premium. It is the only reason I have had to buy Deluxe for the last decade. The free upgrade was nice, but I imagine next year it will cost extra cash that I won't be willing to shell out.
What's great about it: Easy to use
