Fast and saves time and worry

Its easy, fast and amazing to use.
What's great about it: Fast and efficient because i've used it for years; refund is faster

Well...that was expensive.

TurboTax, as always, works great for taxes. But this year, with all of the wonkiness of changing features, it was more expensive.
What's great about it: Smooth program, easy to file, lots of options
What's not so great: Need higher level than last year, expensive
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Taxable Part of Soc. Security: 2013 vs 2014

Taxable Part of Social Security Benefits: Compared to Turbo Tax 2013 my taxable Social Security portion increased from $7,595 (2013) to $20,875(2014) although nothing has changed in my filing status and my SSA Benefits for 2014. Did Turbo Tax 2013 miscalculate or has the tax law changed that much since 2013. I would appreciate your response. If there was an error in the 2013 calculation there would be a need to re-examine my 2013 return and file an amended return if needed.
What's great about it: As usual Turbo Tax made the tax preparation a breeze. Excellent quality
What's not so great: Not sure if there was an error in my Turbo Tax return for 2013

Making the Complex Understandable

Happy (but mad at our accountant) because Turbo Tax helped us understand our itemization's and IRA basis and distribution much better than we had previously. Our accountant should have asked the questions Turbo Tax asks!
What's great about it: TurboTax found deductions and credits that our accountant missed!
What's not so great: Bit of a learning curve if you itemize.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

How Do You Spell Relief -- Turbotax!

Best I've ever done. Walk through of every step really helps. Ability to go back and forth when something doesn't fit where you thought it did was great. Started using this several years ago and this saves me DAYS of going over paperwork as well as money.
What's great about it: Every detail covered. Imported redundant information.
What's not so great: Took a long time but that's what it takes.

Good BUT ...

A great product (again), but the user satisfaction is diluted this year by Intuit's new de-featuring of Deluxe version, necessitating me to upgrade to the pricier Premier version.
What's great about it: Ease of execution
What's not so great: Goofy and confusing new pricing of Deluxe version versus Premier version
