Easy to use!

The easiest way to do your taxes!
What's great about it: Turbo tax takes you through step by step, and gets the best refund you can get.
What's not so great: Some explanations of things could be put in language that an average person can understand.

DUF6 Disappointment

I was disappointed that there was not enough 'advanced' warning that the forms needed for Capital Gains were no longer in the Deluxe version of TurboTax. I had to return the Deluxe version I purchased and buy the Premier version. I believe the program is excellent. However, I would prefer to see 'investments' included in the Deluxe version, rental property moved in with Home & Business version, and then eliminate the "Premier" version of TurboTax.
What's great about it: The question-answer approch makes getting through the complicated tax laws very simple.
What's not so great: Not knowing the capital gains forms I needed were in a different version of TurboTax than I usually use.

Ok, once it got going

i have been using Turbotax for about 15 years or so. This year was the most difficult to install. It took a lot of tries and rebooting my computer for the install to work. Other than this, it worked as usual, but the programmers really need to work on the installation process.

2014 Version of Turbo Tax

This year I had more problems with Turbo Tax than in past years with software shutting down. For a brief time I didn't think I would be able to use it this year, but eventually it allowed me to move forward. I have used Turbo Tax for the past 7 years and would hate to be without it come tax season.
What's great about it: Easy to use if you have adequate knowledge of basic taxes
What's not so great: Software kept shutting down when inputting certain info

Worked like a charm!

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years and will continue to use it as I like the way the program guides me through all the income and deduction sections. It is user friendly and I know that the program will help me find as many deductions and credits that I am entitled to. It works great, I know that my taxes are done correctly, but please no more surprises next year.
What's great about it: All information is transferred accurately and program is very user friendly
What's not so great: The fact that I was surprised to learn that Deluxe did not include the usual schedules that I have used in the past.

Good but Quirky

Overall the program works great although it is a little quirky in places. When it came time to pay for e-filing my state taxes the program could not connect with the secure server to allow me to pay, ended up mailing in the state taxes.
What's great about it: Easy to fill out and accurate
What's not so great: Program would not allow me to pay for e-filing state taxes

Great product and easy to use. My only complaint is that it will not automatically let you purchase more then one use of state taxes at a time.
