Exactly As Advertised!

Turbo Tax helped me easily handle a more lengthy return than I had been previously accustomed to. When I was finished, I was proud to have completed it myself and confident that I had saved money in the process.
What's great about it: The process was easy to understand and follow. No confusing language at all.

I would rate this software a solid 10 / 10. It seems to get easier each year.
Working on a Mac makes the entire process a confident experience and low stress.
Now that I'm retired this will be the only way to file Federal and State going forward.
What's great about it: The transfer of information from prior year makes this an easy process.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

1098-T & Form 8965

I had problems entering my son's 1098-T when he had a refund but his 1098-T showed grant income that needed to be off-set by ed expenses. I also had problems completing Form 8965. He had a marketplace place exemption with no ending date because he qualifies for the Indian Health Service medical care. The Turbo Tax form made me enter an ending date even though this type of exemption has no ending date.
What's great about it: Good for normal situations
What's not so great: Not much help for abnormal situations

This year's version of Turbo Tax was easier to use than last year's version. The sections of income and deductions were easy to answer. Thanks for another good year.
What's great about it: I liked how the income and deduction sections were grouped. I am thankful that you sent me an email keeping me informed
What's not so great: I didn't like the cost of the deluxe version until I received your e-mail.

I always did my owe taxes by hand for over 30 years. The last few years ,I have used Turbo Tax. My refunds are larger and it is a smooth fast procedure. Actually a joy to do taxes. Buy Turbo Tax
What's great about it: easy ,secure and fast
What's not so great: none
