Terrific TurboTax

Once again TurboTax has walked me through my tax submission with ease! With all the appropriate paperwork in front of me, I completed by 2014 tax return in under an hour.

I was able to get through the nasty job of taxes quite easily with Turbo Tax. I purchased the premium because I thought I needed to but I didn't see anything different in this version form previous years.
What's great about it: question help me move quickly through the forms
What's not so great: Some questions are a little confusing - I need more detail

Simple to use

This makes the second time I have used TurboTax. In the past I had to supply the accountant with the same material I entered on TurboTax. It took this same time. Only now it only costs 1/10 th as much.
What's great about it: Same as using an accountant
What's not so great: Language sometimes has to be read twice to understand

Deluxe Version

Your removal of some of the capabilities, which were in previous versions, leaves a BAD taste for TurboTax.. The free upgrade to Premiere made it a little better. However, if next year you return to the reduced Deluxe capabilities, I will be forced to choose a different software package for preparing my taxes.
What's great about it: It was relatively easy, but as I recall more difficult than previous years.
What's not so great: Removed capabilities on Deluxe version

Swift and Effecient

Exellent product. 2nd year using and it gets easier and easier. I would suggest a check list to print right when your going to start. I forgot two things and had to stop. It would have helped if i had a cheat sheet reminder. Otherwise. overall excellent product.

Liked the new format

Like that it brought in my yearly problem form Schedule D, the last few years I have had to manually bring it into the return. So that is where I started looking first and couldn't find the list of forms, then I knew you had really updated things. Thanks.

that knew more about working with a computor.but i did finally was able to send to IRS' I WOULD RECOMMEND A SMALL BOOKLET WITH THE TURBOTAX DISC. THAT WILL HELP A LOT FOR PEOPLE LIKE ME I AM 88 YEARS AND ENJOY CHALLENGES THANK YOU FOR THIS CHALLENGE.

Overall good but bad City tax filing

Every Year I put my city taxes paid to Grand Rapids in my W2 and then it fails to give me the credit. At the end it shows I owe everything to the City but I really owe nothing at all. TurboTax needs to fix this flaw. Then I would give it a 9 out of 10.
What's great about it: Seeing your refund go up and Down with changes
What's not so great: Fixing program faults
