Beats paying hundreds of $$$ for the Tax Man.

I love the step by step approach. Just fill in the blanks for the questions that are being asked. Drastically reduces the confusion on trying to figure the forms out for yourself. The cost of the software definitely beats paying someone else to do it.
What's great about it: Easy to Use
What's not so great: No downside yet.

Good, but Slightly Disappointed

I've been using TurboTax for over 10 years and this year was the first where I wasn't able to use the Basic Edition. Just because I sold stock, that forced me to pay 3-4 times the cost for the Premier. The Basic, until this year, allowed me to file with all of the normal/standard forms, including stock sales, etc.
Next year, if I'm still forced to pay for the Premier version, just for something as simple as selling stock, I will probably look to use a different company's software to file my taxes.
I really like TurboTax and I hope I don't have to go elsewhere.

What's great about it: Online filing and ability to create PDF files of what I wanted.
What's not so great: Having to purchase the Premier Edition just because I sold stock.

efile failure

Worked through forms easily. E-filed and was rejected by IRS. Called IRS as indicated in fixes and they advised a new pin. Used new pin and was rejected again.
Will file by mail. Hoped Turbo tax would offer opinion on reasons for e-file failure. Wasted too much time.

OK but

As always the question format seemed to work well. The ability of the program to do the calculations is a real stress reducer. However, it seems to me that the only reason for dropping the schedules from the Deluxe version and making you purchase the Primer version was to increase profits. The lack of advance warning that this had been done was absolutely inexcusable. If this level of change is in the 2015 program I will be using another software

I DEPEND ON TURBO TAX TO GUIDE ME THROUGH THE MAZE OF FEDERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TURBO TAX., AND THAT'S ALL I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT.
