Less Worth It Every Year

I've enjoyed the product for 10+ years and being a CPA; I've recommended it to a number of people during that time. However, their pricing has out paced comparable products, while the usability remained stagnant. The product is easy to use, but one is force to go through a number of unnecessary questions.
This will be my final year using or recommending the product. Turbo Tax's notoriety this year highlights why I no longer recommend this product. I'm willing to pay a premium price for a premium product, but TT raised the price, dropped needed functionality, and made no noticeable improvements to the usability.
I have limited experience with other products, but the major competitors' stuff seem just as good, if not better. Layer in the pricing discrepancy; and it seems like a no brainer to finally switch brands.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: Expensive to comparable products.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Only one problem with turbo tax premier, I live on a border state I live in IA and work in IL. but when I put my unemployment in from IL. The turbo tax program didn't like the IL address of the unemployment office... being that I live in IA turbo tax thought that it should be from IA The only way to get through was to change (lie) about the unemployment office Address.
What's great about it: I like the program this year better than others. easier to use
What's not so great: One Problem (see below)

Many Happy Returns

Familiar interface, brings forward filer and tax information from previous years. Super-simple interview style layout. I've been using TurboTax for many years and really appreciate how much easier it is to use than the old paper-based process. Additionally, electronic filing is breeze -- refunds typically are deposited within about 3 weeks. All good.
What's great about it: Interview based & brings forward tax data from previous tax years
What's not so great: None

I've used TurboTax every year since 2001 and don't plan to change any time soon. I feel like I get the most out of my deductions and I don't get frustrated by the tax forms. Great product!
What's great about it: Detailed, thorough, simplifies the complicated
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to fix errors
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

problem getting past health insurance screen
on February 14, 2015

I like Turbo Tax, but I had an issue doing one return. She was being claimed as a dependent by her mother. She was covered under her mom's health insurance plan and I checked all the appropriate boxes and answered all the questions correctly. The program would tell me, ok, your are covered under someone else's plan, you are fine to continue. So I would and would go to the next screen and I would click continue and program would take me right back to the screen that said that I need to answer the health care insurance questions. This is not verbatim. It was really aggravating and I finally figured a way to get around it.
What's not so great: program got stuck on the health insurance question

Need Another Flavor

Most folks have financial investments that do NOT include rental property. I would like to see TurboTax off offer a, Financial Investment module and a Rental Property module as separate ADD ONs to the Deluxe version. I would not mind paying a few bucks more for the Investments Module but I (and many others with Stock Investments) have no need for the Rental Property Module (a very specialized investment) even though I am forced to pay for it in order to get the Financial Investments module.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: had to by Premier for Investments but do not need Rental Property module
