Almost 20 years audit free!

I have been using TurboTax for over 25 years. The US edition, the German edition, the online edition for my older kids. In all the years I filed with TurboTax I was never audited!
I only used tax accountants to help me 4 times over the past 25 years and was not only audited but had to pay back-taxes because my taxes where filed incorrectly!
I will stick with TurboTax.
Do yourself a favor and switch to TurboTax!
...and no, I don't have to any investments in TurboTax, perhaps I should!
What's great about it: easy to use and file!
What's not so great: So far I have not come across any

Great Experience

I am a long time user of Turbo Tax. I recently read a lot of negative comments on their changes this year to their products. However, I had no problem filing my taxes using the Premier Edition and it was as seamless and painless as always.
A big plus for me has been that since I started using TurboTax, I have never been audited. And my refunds have always arrived quickly into my checking account, as promised. The cost of the software is reasonable and I continue to recommend TurboTax to anyone who wants to handle their taxes themselves.
What's great about it: the thoroughness of the process

EZ Tax Returns

The general format was the same as in previous which facilitates completing the forms. The historical data needed was entered automatically which would be a tough task manually.
The real problem was finding that I needed to upgrade to Premier at a $30 extra cost. Later I received info that I could claim a $25 refund.
What's great about it: Input info organized well
What's not so great: Had to upgrade to Premier

A lifesaver for a senior citizen

Considering I only have used Turbo Tax for two years, I become more fond of it each time I use it. I sit down to load the tax software with trepidation. I have my paperwork in order and lists of what I expect I will be asked to provide. And it always goes more smoothly than I expect. Such a sense of accomplishment when I am finished.
What's great about it: So many tips and hints to guide you along and always the opportunity to go Back to rethink an answer or leave it as is.
What's not so great: Can't think of a one!

Simplified Tax Returns!

Very easy to use. I like how the software can gather information from your previous years' tax return.
What's great about it: i LIKE THE COMPARISON OF YEAR-TO-YEAR FEATURE.

Good, But to expensive

I've used Turbo Tax for several years. Through life changes, I've used from the Basic product to the Deluxe product. But this year I had to purchase the Premier product do to stocks and bonds, etc... The cost was overpriced compared to the competitors, like H&R Block. I was soooo tempted to stop using Turbo Tax and switch to one of the competitors. They offer the same services for less AND they can read Turbo Tax files. Thank You!

What's not so great: SOFTWARE is TO EXPENSIVE

I not well versed enough in some areas,so it was "taxing", to say the least.
