Showed Me The Money!

Been using TurboTax for a number of years now and will continue to do so in the future. They have always produced a top notch product that not only makes is easy to prepare my taxes, but always gives me the best return possible and files accurately to keep the IRS at bay : )
What's great about it: Accurate, Fast, and Easy

Easy, Quick, and huge refund!

An amazing program. I was able to file my taxes in under 45 minutes with multiple tax forms and extra deductions the program found for me. Thank you!
What's great about it: Very easy to navigate. Captured all my tax forms and even extra deductions. Very fast!
What's not so great: Nothing!

2014 Premier TurboTax

Overall I like TurboTax very much. I have used it to file our taxes for more than 10 years. A couple of suggestions. If you choose to apply a refund towards estimated taxes for the next year, messages are misleading. refund amount goes to zero in box at top for federal . Messages at very end says you don't get a refund and you don't owe taxes congratulations or something to that affect.
It would be nice to see how calcs were done even if it resulted in a zero amount on tax return ..for example calculations for MN form M1M and additions to income due to state income tax. Line 2 on from M1 I didn't see the worksheet for calculating ..and the instructions said if your income is over xyz you need to calc the amount. As it turned out, even tho income was over xyz we still didn't need to enter an additional amount. Confusing..

Easy and Almost Painless:)

Turbo Tax is still the easiest way to file taxes. You are guided through everything so you can't miss a deduction or an income item. I still don't understand how these other tax prep services can promise you a "bigger refund" Quite honestly, you will be getting what you get based on current deductions and income, unless your preparer does something shady.
I'd recommend doing Turbo Tax yourself, even if you have never used it before. Walk through all of the pages first to make sure you have all of your documentation, including charity address is needed, and it is really easy to do.
What's great about it: Step by Step Review of everything so you don't forget
What's not so great: Having to upgrade to Premier - Just in Case it was needed- more $$

I did not like your product this year. I had several forms pop up in my final review which I never answered while doing my taxes such as K-1 (1065) which I could not get rid of so I e-filed with what the system produced. Several items I had to do twice before I could go on with my return.
Had trouble with Federal Carryover Worksheet form which I could not understand or figure out what your form was looking for to be completed.
Also had trouble with K-1 (Corp) which came up and I could not get rid of.
The entire software seemed to be more trouble to complete
this year. which took me a lot more time to complete.
