Almost as good as last year

Product worked as well as past years. Downside was the unannounced change to the program deleting expected functionality. Granted Intuit finally corrected this, but it gives me pause for what we will see next year. My only negative is what I feel is excessive nickel and diming of the consumer, i.e., high cost of state version and high cost of efiling a state return.
What's great about it: Finally full functionality
What's not so great: too much nickle & diming

The 1099-B Couldn't be uploaded from my bank. It was long and confusing. There must be a better way to automate this.
What's not so great: 1099-B was difficult

2014 INCOME TAX FILING

ALL IN ALL, I WAS HAPPY WITH USING TURBO TAX. I HAVE BEEN USING TURBO TAX SINCE 2006. I FIND IT EASY TO USE.
AS I NOTED ABOVE, ARE WE NOT ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE ONE FREE STATE FILING?????
What's great about it: APPRECIATED THE FREE UPGRADE I RECEIVED
What's not so great: I THOUGHT WE WOULD BE ELIGIBLE FOR 1 FREE STATE (MICHIGAN) FILING???

I had an error that kept coming up stating I had a K1. No K1 was listed and the only way I could delete was by adding a bogus one and then deleting.
What's not so great: unable to delete

Not happy turbo tax took investment profit and loss stocks alway from the delux version of turbo tax. Now they make you get the Premier version. I understand they gave us free upgrade to it, but what happens next year. If it is going to cost me more money to use it, I will discontinue using turbo tax and find a different company to use.

What's great about it: step by step questions makes filing so easy
What's not so great: the fact that they changed the product this year and had to delay filing because they needed to resolve the issue

I've been using turbo Tax over 15 years. It saves me a lot of money by not having to use a tax preparer. The software is simple to download and to follow instructions. I like the audit review as well. It reassures me that no mistakes are made. Moreover, the electronic submission to State and Federal make it very easy and paperless.
This year, I had a glitch siince I needed to upgrade to Premier due to reported investment income on form 1099-B. Therefore, I had to call to request an upgrade as my laptop was unable to do it automatically. It took several hours to complete due to busy phone liines. Beyond that, the system worked well. I am still pleased.

What's not so great: Glitch with free upgrade to Premier. Needed to call Customer Service for confirmation number. Very long wait on phone
