I have been using this for three years now and it has made my life so much easier. I used to be one that said I cant do my taxes on my own its too hard, so I just paid hundreds to someone else to do them. Well this has saved me hundreds and I know I am doing it right with the step by step navigation turbo tax provides. I have recommended this to all my friends and I have made them believers.
What's great about it: everything
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

No fuss-got down to business

I loved the format and the total time it took to finish. Questions were relevant and to the point.
What's great about it: easy format everything explained
What's not so great: State tax not required/paid in my State, but kept asking or reminding me to file

TurboTax just gets better and better each year. It is such a user-friendly and affordable tax program and I trust it. I always get a nice refund and I feel the product is really working for me. No need to go anywhere else! Thanks, TurboTax!
What's great about it: Felt like I had my hand held through the whole process!
What's not so great: Can't think of any.

Even faster this year, despite schedules A, B, D

I've used TurboTax for over a decade, for returns that include not just salary, but interest/dividend and capital gains/losses. All handled flawlessly this year.
TurboTax still isn't particularly clean on how sale of employee stock purchase plan shares get from my employer's forms into TurboTax. An unnecessarily complex part of the law, with unnecessarily complex reporting and forms. So if I had to challenge this excellent product, it would be to improve usability of that corner of the design.
There has to be a more productive way to enter data into the Schedule D interview. I'm not smart enough to figure it out, but again would challenge you all to spend some usability time on that front.
I've already signed up for next year...
What's great about it: Interview made it fast

Sold vacation home. Got conflicting info in Turbo Tax search box. Had trouble getting numbers into long term gain part of IRS form but finally figured it out.
What's great about it: Very easy for routine items
What's not so great: Found selling vacaton home difficult

Efficient

I have used a CPA for years. Last year I decided to try taxes on my own. Turbo Tax has actually been a better experience than using a CPA or tax preparer. They still need to ask you a battery of questions. One might as well fill in the blanks directly into Turbo Tax for a fraction of the cost, and also have guaranteed accuracy and compliance. Turbo Tax is a big win.
What's great about it: Comprehensive and can walk you through every step.
What's not so great: None
